I have always felt it is in the seller’s best interest to list a home at the higher end of market when inventory is low. Other agents underprice the home and hope for multiple offers to drive up the price and the seller’s net. A recent Wall Street Journal article confirmed it is better to list homes high. The seller has to understand it may take longer but they will net more!
