Only agents and brokers registered with HUD may show and submit offers on HUD owned homes.  Why?  Big banks, servicers, Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac allow any agent with MLS access to show and write offers on properties.  Currently there are 40 agents approved to sell homes in the Stockton area.  One listing agent, located in Roseville, lists HUD homes in Stockton.  How can HUD obtain the highest possible offer for a property when the home is not made available to ALL potential buyers.  Does not make sense.  Your tax dollars hard at work….your tax dollars not minimizing HUD losses.
